Birthday Party!

Today I went to Oceanside to celebrate Alexi's 1st Birthday celebration.  I meet new people found new friends across California.  Kids were having fun but adults had more fun with games and different Filipino foods.  Finally had lechon!  I can't believe it does really taste like the one from Cebu doesn't have any Chinese smell at all.  They said that the lechon was bought in LA. If ever am gonna buy one I am going to get it from that place, I should find out huh.  The games was fun!  They had chair and statue dance as well as the paper dance.  Mind you me and my partner Sweet won the paper dance!  Yey! Mary Anne dance the simple Hula and wow!  She can really dance, good job Anne :).  Leche flan is really yummy.  Dai Ruthia... you're now officially Flan Queen... just love your Flan...  I should ask you how to make as creamy as the one you made.

Taking Chances

Sometimes we are so unsure if  the road we are taking is the right one.  We are all taking chances with a lot of decisions we make and hope for the best.  One of the most stressful stage in life that many people are facing either changing jobs or moving to a new place for some this may not apply but a lot of people do feel the pressure.  As we look at the economy right now and the unemployment rate across United States, so many people lost their jobs and some are forced to move to another location hoping that they can find a job.

The job where am at right now is not really the one I pictured myself working for many years  but as bad the economy is and I want to have experience to set my feet in the doors of opportunity I have to take whatever I think is decent and that I learn something out of it.  For the first few months it's challenging but when I started to have the rhythm of my daily routine at work everything is starting to become plane unless there's something new that keeps me going to resolve an issue.  Even right now I am still unsure if I am going to last in this very small company that I am working with.  Right now I feel like I am in the limbo and feel so unsecured if the company is going to keep me longer or letting me go.  So many uncertainty in life and it's so hard to find answers right away.  We always take our chances for every little decisions we make that could make a big impact with the outcome.

Happy Friday!

Finally it's Friday...  Though work usually busy on Fridays and Mondays but right now I am looking forward to have a weekend off.  Since my honeymoon at work is over and the real deal is here I definitely need weekends to relax and at least do something fun. Hopefully today it's not so busy at work... but busy is also good so I don't have to keep staring at my clock on what time is it or is it time to go home.  I usually leave work around 5pm but sometimes got delayed until 5:15 or 5:30 because of last minute that that other people at work ask me to do.  My goal is to at least leave on time.  Good thing is time sheet is due today... so excited about that...  even though it's not gonna show on the bank statement not until the end of the month yet I have something to really look forward to next week.

Repair Your Credit

I'm sure you've heard of those credit repair services that offer to consolidate your debts into one easy monthly payment. I know I have!  And, I was tempted to use one of those credit repair places. Until I realized that just consolidating payments doesn't really improve credit. DSI offers a service that actually removes many of the negatives on your credit reports. From the three major credit reporting agencies. Results can typically be seen in as little as 2 months. Real results. Like lower interest rates, which means you keep more of your hard earned money for yourself. No more "deposits" or high payments. The money you can save in lowering your interest rates alone is phenomenal. Then you can really afford to make your payments, because not all of the money is going toward interest and late fees and such. You may be able to save on auto insurance. Or refinance those high ticket items like your home or auto. That alone could save you alot of money! Credit repair companies won't work for free. The fact is that if they are good at fixing your credit or even helping you attain positive credit, it's probably worth the cost. But many of them charge way too much! DSI will work as hard as they can for you for far less than you would pay anywhere else. How do I know this? Who do you think I finally chose to help me repair my credit?

Choose Myrtle Beach on Your Next Trip

I have a friend, John, that has gone to Myrtle Beach every year since he was a child. I was always so envious! He would come back with the best stories. Apparently, many of his fondest memories are linked to the place. I remember one year when he broke his ankle and had to hobble around on crutches! Still, he went to the beach. He just had to find the appropriate Myrtle Beach Accomodations which would allow him easy access to his room. And of course, to the beach. He also preferred access to as many young ladies as possible as well. He thinks that Myrtle Beach Hotels are the greatest. And according to him, anyway, he's seen alot of them. I've been listening to these stories of his for about fifteen years now. I am thinking that I need to seriously consider a little trip to Myrtle Beach. I will probably enlist his help in finding a Myrtle Beach Accomodation. On his most recent trip he stayed at Myrtle Beach Horizon in a suite with a private balcony. He could see the sun rise from the balcony each morning. The Horizon is a new condominium with modern ammenities. It is in downtown Myrtle Beach and was newly opened in 2008. It is an affordable vacation spot, and I am definitely considering a trip there this summer. Without John, of course. At long last he will have to listen to my stories for a change!

Not In My Best Mood Today

It happens sometimes and you can't help it.  Bad moods do sometimes hit you unexpectedly and you just have to deal with it.  This is what am doing right now.  So frustrated with a lot of things today and hopefully it's gonna get better tomorrow.

Did my Farm Town Farming today.  This is my past time usually at night.  I was thinking that I should spend time reading too which I haven't been doing lately.  My brain is probably rusted by now. So many pile of books waiting to be open but am just too tired or many lazy to open them.

I should start making a list of things that I want to do including Hiking. Since I signed up for the Diabetes walk in the next 2 or 3 months.  Hopefully am gonna survive with this.  I can finally walk for a cause.

Variety of Planters

I have always wanted a window box planter. I just think they look great! I'm not much into flower beds, but I saw these great window box planters and my friend is really handy. He said he could install them in no time at all, and he thought they would look great as far as planters go. I wanted to get some really nice indoor planters but with my kitties I'm not sure what to put in them. I wouldn't want them eating the plants! Perhaps a nice hanging indoor planter would work. Probably have to hang it really high, though. I like having outdoor planters, too. Those I definitely like to hang.
I have one outdoor planter that I am growing tomatoes in. The tomato plant grows out the bottom of it, and I have planted marigolds in the top part, because I have heard that they keep the bugs away from your tomatoes. I need one more garden planter to add to my little space outside. It was once a flower bed that I got tired of weeding. I've found that if you group garden planters, they make a nice, showy display of your flowers and ornamentals without requiring too much upkeep. Decorative planters make nice additions to your porch area, or can be placed by your front door. I have a tall decorative planter by the door which always gets lots of compliments. I saw this really nice, tall corner planter that I would like to get. It's quite a high end planter, though. High end planters tend to also have high end prices, so I guess we'll see if I really can afford to spring for that one or not. It is so lovely, though. I have just the perfect spot for it! There is a corner of my enclosed porch that just doesn't seem to look right without something there. I tend to think I will most likely end up getting this planter.
